Home Sweet Home 2

Today, is a boring day. I went to uni to pass the monyets stuff. Couldn't join them to 1U so went back. Had some sister responsibility to fulfill. Came back then a bestie of mine came over to house. Had some emotional issues. So I took on the role of a counselor instead. Besides that, nothing really significant happened. Therefore, I shall continue from where I stopped yesterday.

The 3rd point, blood is NOT thicker than water. Ok, here's my argument. In life, it is nice to have this illusion that there's this group of people who will standby you through thick and thin, good and bad, rainy and sunny; people who you call family. But does it really happen in reality? Hmm, I'm not too sure. Many people may disagree with me as in it is pretty cliched to think that family is the most important asset in our lives. In actual fact, that notion depends too on several factors. Most important of all how close you are to these people and of course how can they benefit you. Money plays an important role too. Family ties crushed due to money matters. Nowadays, money can be comparable to blood ties. Disagree with me? Ok, let me rebut you. Think of the 1st scenario. You have this cousin whom you are not close to. He ask you to lend him $10k. Will you lend him? I don't think so. You rather lend the money to your bestie who's in trouble. Why? Cause that's your bestie and he's able to help u more than your distant relative in times of trouble. And not to forget, u can claim your money back from him with lesser hassle. So its proven my 1st point. Moving on to 2nd scenario. Lets say this relative always ask money from you. Never fail to. Will you like him? Will you try your best to avoid him? I bet the answer is no and yes. Point proven again. At the end of the day, Darwin's law holds. People choose what is best for them to survive and not family ties or what so ever. Maybe in the past, but not anymore. A relative who keeps coming for money will definitely not benefit you in any form. Thus, you avoid him. Easy logic ain't it? My point is, sometimes people help those they are close to regardless of blood ties. I'm not saying everyone is like that, I'm saying majority of people are. Still disagree with me? Then you should be living in fairytale land =) Friends are siblings that God forgot to give us. Friends are people we choose among all others to be close to us. But relatives are God sent. We can't choose who we wanna be related to. That shows why sometimes we appreciate friends more than relatives. I won't deny, friends can just leave in split seconds but can't family too? Family ties stays but will family stay when you're in trouble? What is the use of ties when they're not there? For me, I will be nice to those who are nice to me despite blood ties. If you're a family but you're mean to me, I will do the same to you. The only members that matters to me are immediate families. Other than that, I may give priorities to friends depending on situation. I'm not afraid to admit that friends may come 1st than non-immediate members.

4th point. Confidence...hahaha..What made me feel confident..hmm..How else can a girl feel confident besides improving her looks? I shan't go on this one. It's too personal. Not here anyways..lol..pictured uploaded in the next entry =)
